Larry I have a D 10. (in the midst for a possible trade as I need an SD 10) there are a couple of pics on page 3 in Inst. for sale. Here's my take and you can do a search on here and you will see what I'm about to tell you. High quality, machined parts not cast, highly engineered, built like a tank, all polished package, quiet, stays in tune, wood necks, sounds great, plays great. Probably one of the most underrated guitars out there. Probably due to Barry Thomas' having stopped making them a few years back. However, I talked to Mr. Thomas a few months back and as we spoke he was standing in his new facility watching his machinery being brought in as he is setting up shop again. I cant comment on a 8 & 4 but if it's anything like his D-10's it will out live us all and be around for someone to enjoy for a long , long, time. Hope this helps. if you need more info my # is 937-829-4232 Greg
