???? I went back to youtube to listen again and it says this video is no longer available. I've noticed that a lot on stuff that I listen to and then go back to it,,,it's no longer available,,,anyone know why???

I love it!...that's the kind of playing I like. There doesn't seem to be that kind of playing on much of the newer stuff nowadays.

Sounds like "E" but might be Dicky Overby. I believe this cut is from her CD "Loneliest Star in Texas". The credits list some really awesome Texas musicians including Dicky. Check it out at www.cdbaby.com/cd/prettymiss. Country ain't plumb dead yet!

Sonny, Bill, I'm not all that good at identifying one "great" from another, but I would have to vote Dickey Overby on that one; from the couple times I got to sit and watch him play close-up, that sure is his "sound". JMO Smile

When we play at country or near country based gigs, that's the beat that get most people up on their feet. It may be a bit out of date according to today's standards but it is still a beat that you can't help but keep time to.

That's also one of those tunes that a good bass player can really take his bass for a walk.
