I am a novice on the PC, and I have this Problem:
I am using Mozilla Firefox, and have Webmail as my e-Mail.
what has happen is, all my e-mails come in as an attachment, even publisher clearing house.
and has to go through a download for me to receive them.
'This started a couple of month ago, and I don't know how to correct it,
can you help. Joe |

Does the problem happen when viewing your mail in your webmail, or just your normal e-mail program? I suspect the webmail app could be messing something up, but I can't really tell.

| It is when I go to my e-Mail site, and click to open a e-mail, It always opens in an attachment. and I have to download it in order to view the contents. |

| Sounds like a problem with your web mail. I don't think there's anything you can really do about it. |

Are the emails getting forwarded to you from an older account? Like say you had a Yahoo account and switched to GMail, and you forward all the Yahoo emails?
If it's not that then I'd go through whatever settings you can find for your webmail. That's all I can think of. |

I have went through the settings, and the only thing they have is, changing the format to forwarding mail.
Nothing on incoming E-mail (attachments)
And I have Comcast Cable, and everything worked correctly up until a couple of mo. ago. I did change from internet explorer to mozilla firefox. I wonder if that could have caused it? but it stilled worked good after the change up until later. |
