Hate to do it, but I'm selling my Sho-Bud LDG with case, Sho-Bud volume pedal, installed George L E66 pickup, and original uninstalled pickup. 3 pedals and 4 knee levers. It's in pretty good shape, with the exception of some tiny tears in the pad on each end from the previous owner, I'm assuming from jewelry. The volume pedal has a small crackle about halfway down and should probably be re-potted soon. Also has a tricky leg adjustment, but still works and holds up fine. It's been in a smoke-free environment for the 6 years that I've owned it. The previous owner used it in a church band and I have never gigged with it. The George L is beautiful. I've forgotten the age, but can figure it out if it's important to anyone. I'm in Dallas, available to anyone who wants to stop by, and will ship to the US, Canada, and Europe as long as the buyer foots the bill. I'm asking $1,500 for this steel. No late shift here , this is another example of some one
probaly offering more than the seller had listed the item for, he acknowleged i was first to respond but gave the exuse that he couldnt meet to deliver the steel which was never an issue, if he had called me to find that out. This is the second time its happened to me in the last couple of months. The classifed section
is becoming pretty dog eat dog. first to respond means nothing when the bidding starts i guess.

WOW....I can`t beleive these low prices on the guitars lately.You can sure tell things are tight.

I'm very sorry to disappoint, Roger, but in this case the first person to say yes and agree to my terms walked away with this guitar. You were the first to chime in, but did not initially agree to my terms, which was open to pickup and shipping delivery. Sadly, I am not able to travel any distance to help in delivery. Had you said "yes, I'll pick up", or "yes, ship to me", it would be yours. But "yes, meet me halfway" wasn't part of my proposition. First to respond doesn't automatically make it yours, first to amiably close the transaction does.

I know there's some gray area there since you posted a phone number, but I'm also unable to make any calls during the day, so PM'ing and emails were the way to close the deal.

And on another note, does anyone else think it's odd to make a forum post saying "I'll take it" without making contact first? It kinda sends a message to everyone else that it's off the market, even though it may very well not be. I haven't been around these forums for a few years, so maybe I'm just not familiar with how things work here.

Frankly, I'm wishing I had posted a higher price on this guitar. Apparently it's worth a lot more than I thought!

It was your steel you can sell it to anyone you want to, which you did.

But-I dont know about anyone else but, if some one says i will take it, and sends their personal phone number I am more than willing to consider it sold till i speak with them. I also said cash was no problem. I simply suggested meeting halfway between our two locations because i have done that before. If you had called me I could of maid arrangements to have the steel picked up and paid for wed, or thurs by friends living in Arlington.

Me thinks you protest to much and you still havent said if you took a higher offer, doesnt matter the way things are going there will be other one for sale
at a better price.
