Josh,
Jim Flynn, Lone Star Steels, lives about 50 miles up I-35 from Austin in Salado. He builds and repairs steels. Super nice guy. I don't have his phone number handy but you can look him up on the Internet under steel manufacturers. He is the only one in our area that I know of.

As far as Texas is concerned, Ricky Davis is just outside your backyard--in north 'burbs of Houston. Really, he is back and forth to Austin regularly, and you will not find a better steel mechanic. email him at

Hi Julian,
Actually, surprisingly, my equipment seems to be just fine this tour.
One of our techs is looking to add a 2 and 9 knee lever to his Dekeley, having a tough time with that.
The shows have been really great. kd is amazing.
See you in LA!
