Thanks Russ Hicks and Robert Rogers

Post by Rick Byrd »

The Jugtown Steel Guitar Club (Birmingham / Gardendale, AL) would sincerely like to thank Russ Hicks and Robert Rogers for coming to town and playing at our monthly picking this afternoon. What a treat it was!

Russ played several excellent songs off of his 2 most recent CDs – “A Different Slant” and “Yielded and Steel”.

I believe that Robert will also have a new CD out in the coming weeks.

Many thanks for a great time.

Rick, I too was truly amazed to walk in and find those two incredible pickers "doing their thing" at our club yesterday.

This was my first time to meet and hear Robert...he is amazing. :)
