Early 50s Fender T-8 Custom- $850 shipped

Post by Brian Herder »

Only 300 dollars per neck! Due to more pressing financial needs, I am selling my Fender T-8. I think it might have been refinished a long time ago.. the decal is gone from the front, one of the legs wobbles, and I somehow lost one of the "diamonds" on the back side and it has no case (probably why the diamond is now missing). Still has the blue underside intact. The good news is the pickups (Front 10.5, Mid10.9, Back 11.1 Ohms) and all the tuners work, and the electronics (pots are Stackpole from '51) and knobs alone are probably worth my asking price of $1000.. Lowered to $900... ok, $850! I'll pay the shipping anywhere in the Continental USA.

Lowered To $900

I added some additional pics and description. New price is $900 shipped (Cont US). If paying with Paypal I'll need an additional $27 to cover their fee.

Eddie; I agree it would be a good one to own! The P/U measurements are great and IMHO the Walnut guitars sound the best!!! If my empty spaces weren't filled up, I'd buy it for sure!

Brian,

Thanks! I am looking forward to getting this in the door and cranking it up! If only it could talk.

If you would, it would be really cool if you could write up a little piece on the history that you know of this instrument and email it to me. Sounds like there is plenty of it!

I'll have 3 new sets of strings waiting for it!
