Heard Johnny Cox playing the fire out of his Jackson Steel, 8&4 using a Peavey Session 400LTD and it was perfection. The Jackson had a great tone (I know it is in the hands) but it has to be the right hands. A beautiful guitar played by a great player and nice fellow. The pleasure was all mine. Thanks for the great music Johnny. You fellows out there need to give those Jackson guitars a hard look.
George

I'd love to hear him and the Jackson also. The best all around sound I have heard in recent years was Johnny and the 68 ShoBud "Permanent" on his friday morning set this spring at the Dallas show. The Jackson brothers are trying to revive the spirit of the early ShoBuds in the Jackson and I think they're about to arrive at it. IMHO of coarse - Smile
