Just wondering if anyone has used a Roland cube to practice with or do a party. I want to get a very light amp to practice with and can get a good deal on a cube 60, but don't know how it would be for steel. I still have my Nashville 400 but its way to heavy for me to lug around to a party

PETE I think a Micro-cube would be OK for low volume playing, just don't use the "BOO-WAH" pedal. Laughing

I finally bought a Fender FX65 with a twelve inch speaker. So far I am very happy with it. It has that sort of old fender sound and lots of control on the tone. Ii is about twenty five pounds so very easy to carry and has built in effects Also a great looking little amp.
