He sure is! One of my favorites too. I remember getting an LP of Doug's about 30 years ago(?) and was highly impressed to say the least.
This Youtube of his, "All the Things You Are" is just a great tune on C6. I played it many times in the past, but my technique was humbling compared to his. He is not only a great Musician, but also a great Guy...al.
