Regardless of your skill level or budget, I'll help you cut yourself a CD you can be proud of. I've had a lot of experience with recording steel guitar projects. About thirty years of experience, actually. Long before ever recording my own steel guitar instrumental CDs, I recorded an album (Taking A Break) for Herby Wallace and Thumbs Carllile. Since then I've record scores, and I know where steel should be in the mix. John Hughey loved recording with me, not only because he loved the way his steel sounded, but because I could communicate with him as a steel guitarist. Now, if Herby See this, he can give his own reasons he likes recording with me. If you wanted your house rewired, I don't think you'd call a plumber. It seems to make sense that you would record a steel guitar CD with a someone who plays the instrument.

If you need some assistance with production, that's also somthing I do. If you have your own production ideas, I don't interfere.

Feel free to give me a call at 423-942-0030 or email me through the forum or my website www.MikeHeadrick.com

(your playing is killer. my fav CD is the one with
Mr Moon and the Bakersfield steel sound.)
