In my single neck guitar I have a BL-710, the double neck has Emmons single coils. I use a standard BJS 10 string bar.

Bars, guitars, pick-ups, strings, cables, pre-amp....you can attribute all of it to tone. In Randy's case, he just flat out has a great pair of hands that masterfully plays what's in his heart.

I have had the occasion to sit at a professional player's guitar. The tone/sound difference was nite, and day, his naturally being the better. A lot of the good stuff is in the equipment, but 99.999% the player.
