Nice piece of programing, and I guess it would have application to recording if you don't have access to the right musicians.

Personally, I prefer to play live. When there are no other musicians to jam with I can imagine the accompaniment in my head.

I saw Ray Charles play solo once and in an aside to the audience he said something like...

"I just pause sometimes for the accompaniment that plays up here." (He tapped his temple with an index finger and grinned.)

The live versions sound much better. I don't think this program would sound as good as BIAB.

PG Music has just come out with a new program called "Real Band 2008.5" to supplement their BIAB material.
I have it installed on my computer but haven't run it through its paces yet.
