Clayton-Thanks for reminding everyone of this great Trufant Jam. 2nd Sunday in Ocotober.
Wait till you hear Gene Caulkins smoking that Fender with no pedals. Amazing!
I have attended the Trufant Jam for about 10 years and it is fun and the guys are great.
It is a beautiful drive in the fall and clean fresh air out in the country.
All players welcome to play.
I hope to be there , and will be looking forward to see all the guys and gals there again.
I won't be bringing my "Lean and Mean" E6, but will be hopeful that maybe someone will let me use their guitar, for a tune or two..see ya...al.

Anyone hear from Bob Cole lately? Last I heard from him was over a year ago.
Good luck with the jam, Clayton. When are you coming back to Florida? I'm starting to see vehicles with Michigan tags so the snowbirds are starting to return.

Hey Clayton have a great jam up there in snow country.
I've had a chance to play "Secret Love" a few times since you've been up there. I know you like to do it so I don't do it when you're here.
See you soon, I hope at our FSGC jams.

Well, I guess old Bud will drag the 68 Emmons out for this special occasion.
It will be good to see all the pickers there. They always have a pretty good house band too...
Come on down, up , or whatever....
Hey Jack and Don, I hope it is warm down there, Maybe I can make it down this winter for a jam or two..

Don and Jack,
Wish you could attend our Trufant Jam. A lot of of good players up here. Also a lot of new Steel Guitars mostly Zum & Mullen.
I can`t wait to get back to Florida, to see all the great players at the club.
I was asked to play Thurday on stage at Scotty`s Convention this year. It was fun & Russ Hicks played bass for me and, said he enjoyed my set.
Does anyone have a new phone number for Bob Cole?
See you in December Clayton

Claytion, Jack and Don:
I made contact with a person in Indian River who assures me Bob Cole is still living there. Either he doesn't have a phone or it is unlisted. I intend to drive up there and see him. I will let you know what his status is. He had some health issues the last time I spoke with him. He indicated he was not able to feel the pedals anymore. I offered to put his changes on knee levers for him. They wouldn't be as quick but would work.Stay tuned.....
Old Bud.

Bud-I couldn't get to Trufant last year, as it was my Great Grandsons Birthday and everyone come over to my house to celebrate. By the time it was over and they left it was after 4:00, and just too late to go. It was the first Trufant Jam I missed in over 10 years.
This year, I hope to make it, but, again not too sure.If I can it will be very late in the afternoon.
If I don't get over there, for some reason, give all my good friends my Best Wishes for a happy, successful and great Jam.
Bud , you and all my old friends, you are always welcome to stop by my house to visit on your way home. 73's.....al.

Clayton-Thank you for all your years of hard work putting on the Trufant Jam. We have had a ton of fun there and enjoyed the fellowship.
Sorry , I didn't make it this year or last year. It was again, my Great Grandson's Birthday party, and I couldn't miss that! He is 11 years old now and a treasure.
I suppose that soon you will be going to Florida again to Steel Jams there. Lucky you.
For us staying here all winter now, it is nice that Kent County does a good job clearing the roads and I have a nice guy who snowplows my driveway when needed. Have fun in Florida Clayton, and see you next year.....al.

Thanks AL and Thanks everyone for helping us keep up the new phone numbers and giving us new players.
We got the 2 Jams every month plus our playing jobs
and that keeps us pretty busy.
Drew thanks for taking the time to send new tabs to the new players.
We got our Soybeans out and getting ready to plant Wheat.
Stay healthy and see you all in the spring!!!
