Franklin - Equipment with Time Jumpers

Post by Rick Byrd »

What equipment set-up is Paul Franklin using live with the Time Jumpers as far as amps and effects go?

Thanks.

I've seen him play twice--once with a single Nashville 112 (I don't remember if he had a Boss reverb or not) and once with a Stereo Steel with a Lexicon PCM 70 into a pair of Marrs cabs.

I saw him on August 11th and Paul was using the same setup that Jonathan mentioned.

He was playing through a Peavey 112 when I saw him at the Station Inn last March. He had a fairly fat tone with a lot of bass on his notes with not a lot of highs. Incredible playing though.

In case some readers aren't familiar with the venue, The Station Inn is a small sit-down mostly bluegrass club with no dance floor. The tables are right up to the stage. I would imagine even an NV112 could fill the room unmiked.
