What Seat Do You Use?

I've been using a drummers throne...simple and easy to carry...fairly comfortable, but stability isn't great.
Any recommendations on good seats for PSG?
Thanks, Anthony

Once you use a steel seat you won't go back

I have a Cush-Case I've been using for the past 13 years. About 8 months ago I purchased a used Elite Seat with the backrest. I found the Elite to be very uncomfortable and I couldn't fold up the legs properly after I finally found rubber tips that would fit it. Therefore I sold it and went back to my ole cush-case seat. It's worn out and they don't make them anymore, so I've considered the Steeler's Choice Seats. They set good but the storage compartments are too shallow for my needs. I'm thinking now I might just get my cush-case refurbed with a new memory foam cushion. That way I can have the best of both worlds.

When I'm lazy, an armchair.
When I'm serious, a drum throne.

I really dig my Steelers Choice seat. Very comfortable, easy to transport with great storage space.

I have a blue Steeler Choice that I use when I play the blue lacquer LeGrande II and a black Elite that I normally use because I play a black push pull often. I like both very much. Both are comfortable to me and I don't have the problem that Nick has with his.

I'm currently sitting comfortably on a WALKER PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS CHAIR. Not because my last name is Walker but because Ray gave me such a good deal!

Ray Walker's seat does it for me and it was a coin toss between the Walker and a Steeler's Choice...heard it's a very well built seat also. Carl

I have a 24 year old Caseet that I had an extra cushion made for at an upholstery shop, that's very comfortable. I needed a back rest for my arthritis so I got a Steel Seat when WC Edgar had the company. It's a great seat, and recently I bought a Walker seat from Billy Carr, also a great seat. My old one is the most comfortable still, if it only had a back. If I gain any more weight I'll need all three at once.

Steeler's Choice Pro 1 Sidekick. Bought it last saturday at St.Louis convention. Used it last night on its first gig, real comfortable. Great seat you make Dan.

Same old Sho-Bud. I tried one of those things that looks like a loveseat, but the rest of the furniture in my house got jealous and threatened to leave...

I've been using a Walker Traveler UltraLight seat, and so far it's been great. My old seat is a lot bigger and a lot heavier, and I really like the smaller and lighter Walker seat for gigging. Someday I would like to get a larger seat with a back rest, but I think I would still use this Walker for gigs because it's so easy to carry around. The Walker seats are very reasonably priced, and a great product.

I am using a drum throne. I like it because it swivels. It doesn't have storage space but I am using an old computer bag for carrying stuff, which is rare that I do because 99% of the time it is set up in my "man" room.
