When you say "vibrate into the nut making them lower", are you talking about the strings buzzing where they are seated in the nut? That usually means the slot for the string is too wide for the string gauge being used.
If you're talking about something else, please explain better. Thanks. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

Stewart-MacDonald has nut files in various gauges, which may help get the strings seated in the nut. |

If the nut is plastic or bone you can place a small drop of super glue in the groove and when it's dry try the string again, if it's still buzzing, repeat as often as needed. You can also use an exacto saw blade or jewelers file on the hardened superglue as needed.
