I'm picking this Friday, Sept. 26, filling in the steel chair on the Shuffle Gig with the fabulous California Rangers while Rick Schmidt moves over to bass. Come party! Watch a Mullen D-12 9+10 in action!
The venue is McCabe’s, on Oceanside Blvd., just east of the ocean. From 4:30 pm till 9 pm. No cover.
Make a day of it and visit with Jim Palenscar at Steel Guitars of North County, it’s just a couple of miles from the club.

We had a blast, thanks, Rick, for inviting me to fill in.
I even played sketchy bass on one song while Rick tried to figure out how to play my steel. Though we both play D-12's, mine is a beast of a different color. Good try, Rick, still sounded perty good!
One change, I'm not playing there Sept. 5, but probably all the Fridays the rest of September. Come visit!
