Only been a member for a couple of months and don't know my way around properly - hope I'm doing this right. I've been playing the 6 string guitar for longer than I care to remember and have finally got myself a pedal steel and I love it. I'm picking it up slowly and I'm sure if I had access to backing music I'd feel better with my pedal playing. I've listened to that master David Hartley playing his and the backing he has is marvellous. Can anyone help me please?

Terry,

If you click HERE you may find a few backing tracks that you can play along to.
There aren't a lot, but it's a start.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the response. I'm having trouble opening the BIAB/MIDI files in BCSGA site. My computer says they are not WIN32 type files!!! I downloaded the Best Practice application OK though - it's great for changing tempo and key of backing music. I'll keep trying to get into the BIAB files, they're just what I wanted. Thanks again.
