Hi There,
I'm going to be playing at the Clonakilty Guitar Festival in Co. Cork, Ireland from 18-21st of September. I'll also be playing with Rory Allen at Ballymaloe House on Thursday, 11 of September.
I'm planning on bringing my Franklin 8x8 doubleneck, but if anyone had psg with a similar layout , I would much appreciate leasing it for the couple of weeks that I'm in Ireland. Excess baggage charges can be so arbitrarily and expensively applied that I would like to avoid incurring them. I also may need an amp while I'm there.
Hoping to meet a few steelers over there. Finbar, thanks for your loan of the psg last time and Richard, thanks for arranging it.
best regards,
Lucky Oceans |

Suggestions???, well if it was England I could find you a place to crash out and I have a few steels here but most of them are Gordon Huntly/Jimmy Day set up I only have a Sho Bud that is Emmons but there is no C6th on that one.
Re. playing, I do organise a steel jam over here every now and then and I get players from all over come to it. It is only a little village hall but a great deal of fun (if it goes right)last time I held it we had for top liners, David Hartley,Barry Gaskell
,Mark Dunn Rod King,( we missed Basil Henriques that night) and we had a host of other good players that you probably never heard of and the scratch band was pretty good too!!The only thing we don`t have over here is money but as they say in Ireland "the crack is good" and most of you guys got enough allready |
