Thank you Gary for your kind words regarding the cd of the "Hot Club Of America" It was my friends Mike Gross and Dave Van Allen that suggested this cd was re-formatted from LP to cd.The Money was used to buy a tombstone for Johnny and that was satisfied a while ago. Since that time, the cemetary was vandalized and head stones were overturned, Johnny's plaque was stolen, I then had another made up for Johnny in a form of a plaque, that reads,
John Cucci An American Guitar Player Born November 12th 1923 and Died November 6th 1986. This plaque is in City Island NY. I have made a verbal agreement with bOb Lee that any remaining cd's be sold through this Forum.Gary and myself had a telephone conversation recently and I thanked him for the extra effort he put into making a special set of covers for my console stand a few years ago and in appreciation for that sent the cd Gary refers to as my way of saying thank you. I did not charge Gary for the cd, but asked if he thought the cd was all that people have said it to be I would send one to him no charge and that those who wish to purchase the cd can do so. I have about 55 cd's here and will keep about 10 for my family and close friends and the balance will be sold by bOb Lee.
If I have any left over, I will offer them for sale at a couple of steel guitar shows such as the PSGA.
I suggest those of you who wish to order the Hot Club Of America do so by contacting bOb Lee. There will be no more made up when these are depleted, so far as Rick Alexander's offering these cd's for sale by ordering these on the beautiful website he made for me, I will email Rick and ask him to change that so that the verbal agreement made by myself and bOb Lee be final. I thank those of you who have supported my efforts and helped make a dream come true for my friend and mentor Johnny Cucci..
Thank you Gary, you are a gentleman and a good friend.
Warmest Regards.PS All Johnny ever wanted for a final resting place was for the leaves of Autumn cover his grave. I chose to do as I did and feel that he deserved what I did from my heart.Edited to add I would give anything to be able to jam with those three great musicians again..God rest their souls, Johnny, Augie LaMonte, and George Nida. And Thank you Andy, for your kind words. Edited again to correct my spelling.

Gary hit it right on the head alright. Jody's steel playin on this CD is mind blowing to say the least. I've had my copy for a couple of years and might have to buy another as I've about worn it out.
