In just a few minutes, Hazel and I head up to Nashville, where we will visit some steel guitar buddies.
We will spend Monday night with Kayton and Iva Lee Roberts. For those of you that don't know him, Kayton was Hank Snow's steel player for over 30 yrs.
Then on Tuesday, we head for Indianapolis where I will be calling some more steel guitar buddies.
On Wednesday, we will head early for Chicago, where we will spend some quality time with Letritia Kandle. My former Hawaiian guitar teacher when I was a teenager. We will take Letritia and her husband Walter (they are in their 90's) to dinner since they neither one can drive).
Then on Thursday, we head for St. Louis, where I will spend most of my time in the Excel room for the next three days. I can't be there Sunday (sadly)
Do come by and "set a spell". I would be honored if you would. Bill Stafford and of course Mitsuo Fujii will be there. Take a look at the new Excels. They have many new features. Bill or I, will be more than pleased to show them to you. Unfortunately Mitsuo speaks VERY little Enlgish. So we are there to help him. He is such an awesome gentleman in any case. And a mechancial genius IMO.
Also, Bill Stafford has a new CD. It is just plain dandy.
I am also doing a rigid A/B test on two top of the line electronic tuners. So come and help me do this. And give me YOUR unbiased and candid comments. I would like that.
I intend to leave St. Louis with one of them. Your inputs will be more than welcome, AND appreciated.

Sure would like to be there with you.
Know you have had an exciting trip and getting your new Excel will be wonderful.
Tell Bill Stafford I said hello. He is one fine Gentleman and picker. Bring me one of his new albums and I will get it when I see you. Have a blessed time and will see you the next weekend.
