What may be the problems, and solutions to, when bringing up a song (MP3, etc.) from the forum, and after a few seconds of playing, it quits?

Stuffed sofware needing a re-install / upgrade?

Have you tried playing it through a different mp3 player on the same machine?

Are you on a dial-up connection? where you get a lot of stops, buffering, etc?

Thanx, guys. I'll ask my friend who's having the problems about this.

I had that problem too. What's worse, when the music stopped, one of the chairs was missing!

What is probably happening is that the download speed is not up to par. That would certainly be the case with dial-up and even happens from time to time with broadband. First time through, just let the track spit and sputter til the end and hit play again. It should be buffered/downloaded and play all the way through without interruption.

Whatever you do, don't stand up. As alluded to in previous posts, your chair will disappear.

Thanx, Ellis, but it doesn't sputter, it simply stops.
I'll be talking to my friend again at lunch.
