What is a good brand to buy to go with a D.D. 3 digital delay pedal. Thanks.

Digitech makes a good digital reverb unless you wish to go with rack mount effects. Good Luck my friend!

Do they still make the DD3? About 10 years ago I went to buy a DD3 but the store was out and sold me a DD5 for the same price. I used the DD5 for many years (until I got a POD XT a couple of years ago) and still have the DD5. It's a much nicer digital delay as it has the tap tempo option. They quit making the DD5 and now have a DD6 to replace it.
If I were to buy a digital delay pedal today, it would be the DD6.
The other thing about the DD5, it does not "color" or change the tone of the steel either in bypass or when it's in line. Some stomp boxes will slightly change the tone (the popular RV3 is one that changes the tone).

Paul, I use a Holy Grail reverb stomp box with a Boss DD6 delay and, to my ears, it sounds great.

I use a Holy Grail when I want reverb only, and an RV-3 when I need reverb and delay.

The Digitech RP-150 has beautiful Lexicon reverbs built into it. That's a very affordable way to get some of the nicest digital reverbs around. The pedal also has lots of delays, too. Reverbs and delays. All in one pedal. All programmable.
