I was curious if anyone from this forum will be attending the Desert Rose Band shows in San Diego, San Juan Capistrano, Copper Mt. or San Fran.?

See Chris Hillman's site for more info.:
http://www.chrishillman.com/tour_dates.html

Jay Dee Maness will be there! :D I saw the band with Tom Brumley in '91 but never saw Jay Dee. The Byrds forum will be represented. I'll be flying to San Diego from Florida.

Cool. I saw them, touring their "One Step Forward" album---don't know what '80's year that was---at the Bottom Line in NYC with Jay Dee. Hey Jay Dee---remember me---I was the guy at that table. You know? I had a beer. Was wearing shoes. Right? Yeah. I knew you'd remember a thing like that.

They were absolutely top notch. Memorable.

Cool! If any of you guys see a skinny young woman with brown hair in a vintage style western shirt, that would be me. Say hello. I love meeting other country musicians. I'll be at the Belly Up and Coach House.

Mr. Maness, it will be an honor to see you play.

I plan on being there, wherever it is. It will be great to see you guys again....

Hey Jay Dee, this is great! I remember you saying there might be a reunion way back at the last Perl Jam. I'll try to make the SF gig, but is that 9/4, or 10/4?

What a great show...Great band, great songs.. It's a shame that there aren't more "players Bands" out there. JayDee, John Jorgenson, Steve, Chris and Herb.. Just smokin fun! It's the real deal... It was also a blast seeing all my terrific musician friends in the audience.. Cool evening,,

Last night's show was amazing, fantastic, one of the best I've ever seen. Every chair filled by a hugely talented player. Jay Dee was awesome, and John Jorgensen was unbelievably creative and fluid.

If you missed it, start kicking yourself now!!!
