I am purchasing an NV112 based on all the positive remarks here and noticed the volume pedal patch on the amp. Does anyone here use the patch and does it have any benefit for the volume pedal? Seems like a lot of cable run to me. Does anyone use it for something other than the volume pedal?

I run my volume pedal through the Pre-EQ Patch and my effects through the Post-EQ Patch inputs. It does seems like a lot of cords, but I was able to eliminate some of my pedal noise by using the Pre-EQ inputs.

| If you are using a pot pedal, the pre EQ patch is recommended. I believe however on advice from the manufacturer, the Hilton pedal functions best connected in the signal path. (guitar-vp-amp.) |

I guess it boils down to, would you rather hunt for a place close by to plug in a wall-wart or would you rather run (2) extra cords for a pot-pedal?! I run (2) extra cords when I'm only using one pre~amp. and my second amp. as a slave, because, I only have one pot in my pedal. If I had a Franklin Stereo-Pedal, I'd use the (3)-Cord hook-up in each amp., but; that involves using a total of (6)-Cords, which I actually did, several years ago!

Richard, I bought a siamesed 15 ft cord with 2 1/4 inch jacks at guitar center for about 12 bucks. Plug it into the front of your NV 112 and your volume pedal. It works and sounds great, actually eliminates some of the scratchy noise of the pot. I plug my Carter into an Ibanez delay pedal that buffers the signal. No problem with cords at all. That siameses cord from GC really works well! JP
