It seems there is a reissue Fender Volume/Tone pedal for sale online for about half the price of the old ones. It's on a website called bananas.com or something like that.
Why have I heard nothing about this? Is this new as of a week ago or something? Has anybody used one?

Chris, these were announced at NAMM 2008 and discussed in the Electronics section of the forum.

From what I can tell from the various online vendors, they are supposed to be available in May 2008.

Chris,
I also cannot wait to try out this pedal.
I hope the doowah tone sounds the way I want it.
I'm glad its not a "relic" pedal with scratchy pots, rust and hi dollar price tag

Bananas At Large is about 45 minutes south of me in Marin County, I'd like to check these out in person after reading the thread here on the Forum awhile back.
