Alkire 10-string

Post by Mark Utting »

There is an Alkire 10 string with 2 pickups and four legs for sale at a local shop. What are your opinons on this instrument? The date of manufacture is unknown. I am told "'39 to 50's" but no more. What is the going price for one in reasonable (not pristine but not beat) condition with case?

thanks
Mark

I've got one of these guitars and paid around $360 about 5 years ago.

It's a great guitar ... well worth it.
