Hey guys...I just saw a Regal dobro at the local GC & they did not know the model # on it, they were asking $300 for it...I would not pay that not knowing the model, so they said $250, then $200, it sounded good so I bought it. I got on the internet and did some research, & now know it is a black RD 45S. I love the feel & sound, so for $200 did I do OK?

I think you did just fine. That's a good price for a good little guitar. Congratulations!

You done good. I have one of those and it sounds pretty good. You can make it even better with a Quarterman cone and a bridge/nut upgrade. If I played a lot of dobro I'd have something better, but for a steel player who wants to play a little dobro it'll do you just fine. |
