On this cut by Lenny Breau, with whom Buddy made a record, is it Buddy on bass from 48 seconds in to one minute and 24 seconds in?

I believe upon occasion when a band already had a steel player, he would fill in on bass.

I'm pretty sure that Buddy is playing bass on Daryll McCall's cut of "It's My Lazy Day" it's just amazing.

I thought it was Mrs. Miller. (If you don't remember her, you're lucky.)

I heard Buddy Emmons play bass live at one of the Jeffran Jams back around 1982. I think Johnny Cox and Jeff Newman were playing steel(s) at the time. During "Back Home in Indiana" they gave Buddy a bass solo... and as he played his solo he shouted "Hey, I'm still tryin' to Learn it!" with that Big E grin.

Yeah, this is all fine and dandy, but...
Didn't Sho~Bud used to have T-Shirts made that Buddy would wear when Roger Miller, whose songs Glenn Thompson's bass-playing friend Johnny Polinsky used to sing, would back up Buddy's bass playing with vocals!?!?!? Whoa! Laughing
