Roger: thanks for posting Herb's fine number by J.D. Walters of Hank's Brazos Valley boys fame. Seemed great to hear his band once again; I recall attending one of Hank's road shows about 40 years ago, when he featured twin steel Guitars. Always a great western swing performance by a fine country gentleman..Bernie :D :)

HI BERNIE,

Thanks for your response. Only 200+ Lookey Loos before your response. :\ :)

I believe the only "Twin Steels" in Hank Thompson's Band was in the 1950s. That would be Bob White & Pee Wee Whitewing.

Roger; thanks for your E Mail; you are right about the " TWIN STEELS ", being sometime in the 50's; just about the time I began playing steel, at age 16 yrs. old. I was thinking both the players last name was " WHITE ", so I was half correct; the other lad being Pee WEE WHITEWING; thanks for letting me know that piece of INFO. Hank was a true speciman of a Country Music Legend. Bernie :whoa:  :D
