I would like to ask if any of you could help me (very occasionally) with a few simple E9 lick tabs. I am an new-intermediate E9 player and sometimes have difficulty figuring out licks which I hear and like. I was wondering if any of you could help me from time to time with some simple stuff....I can send short clips electronically...anybody interested in helping a struggling and relatively new player who needs a boost? I would be most grateful for any help.. I am currently working the Jeff Newman courses but need some tutoring on how to figure out licks...CF

Charles -

You may find some valuable help on forumite Greg Cutshaw's web page. He has a ton of stuff tabbed out and in a great variety of styles, etc..

Hope this helps,

Respectfully,

Richard

I'd like to hear some cool licks when you find them. I might be able to help some, as time permits of course.

Doug Beaumier sells an extremely nice book of tabs/licks with an accompanying CD. He plays each tab/lick at two different speeds on the CD. The tabs/licks are numbered so any one of them can be found quickly and associated with the CD and/or book. Since there are 100 hot licks, when you learn all those tabs (licks), you'll be a very busy PSG musician.
