I seem to recall a few old threads where folks sang the praises of this amp for steel, but either I dreamt it or my searching skills have gone soft. Anyone using this amp, used it in the past, have any thoughts on it?

Thanks.

Dan

I've used them. They have a lot of power, very clean, lightweight. The trick is that you have to try the one you're getting first. Some of them sound terrific, some so-so. It seems from my trials that the USA ones have a better chance at sounding good than the JAPAN ones. It says it clearly on the back plate, not something you have to dig for.
