I am a big Johnny Horton fan, and I thought I'd heard all of his stuff. But, I was YouTube surfin',and I run across a song he sang called "Words". It is a beautiful song, even has some lap steel in it. Anyone ever hear of it? Does anybody have the lyrics or tab?

I'll have to look for that. I've heard that Don Helms did some work for him. It may be him on steel.

The original version of the song was cut in 1951, no session info available. Johnny cut another version in 1959, but that one didn't have steel.

Kind Regards, Walter
