Hey Everyone, I will be playing the Crab House, in Camarillo, Ca. Friday, June 6th, 2008. The restaurant opens for dinner at 5:00 and the music will start at 6:00. I'll be playing four 45 minute sets. The menu is seafood, and ribs. The music will be a variety of styles, oldies, country and rock. The address is : 350 Lantana, Camarillo, Ca. 93010. Phone # is 805-987-4979
No cover, great food ! And, I really can't play more than one instrument at a time !

A second show has been added, at the last minute, for tonight !

Hi everyone, Only one week away !
" What, Me Worry " ! Stop by and say hi.
The restaurant does have a full bar, and an outside patio, where you can dine.
Peace-out, J. W.

John, have a great gig but don't get too crazy on the bandstand! As I recall from my old SoCal days, the California State "Funny Farm" is in Camarillo and they might try to keep you guys if you get too far out............JH in Va.

Thanks for the kind words Jimmy, and Jerry. As per the state hospital, yes I am very familiar with it. As, I used to date a physic tec. who worked out there, and I used to play music with a female vocalist, who also worked out there as a rec. therapist. Thank goodness it was shut down some years ago, and is now a state college !
I seem to have dodged another bullet.

Well, it looks like I will be playing the Crab House on a regular basis this summer ! I guess that means, I passed the audition. Thanks to all who came out to see me, and to Chris Pett, for shooting the video. A special thanks to Brian, for staying all evening. Yet another fellow steel player, here in Camarillo. That makes three ! I suspect there will be some guest appearances by some of my good friends / musicians, throughout the course of the summer.
Here are a few pics.
Thanks, J. W.
