The Buddy Mize song "Cinderella" , he was a songwriter for Bucks Bakersfield publishing company, I'm sure you already new that.
Tony Booth put it out, in '71, as a single (SP CAPITOL 3214) and it was on Tony's 1972 album "THE KEY'S IN THE MAILBOX" (Capitol ST-11076) It was his first release on Capital and made it on the charts.
Freddie Hart's was just an album cut on his '72 "BLESS YOUR HEART"(Capitol ST-11073)album, and that got some airplay.
I think, for the most part, that's it.
I'll ask Gene Price, next time I see him, he had cuts on both those albums.

Leo, I always attributed the "biggest Hit" status of Cinderella to ol' Buck himself. I knew that Tony had recorded it but I've never heard a Freddy Hart cut of the tune. Our current band does the tune now and we always say it's an old Buck Owens song....JH in Va.

| Hey Jerry,Buck did cut it,but never did release it. It's somewhere in his vault.I'll be seeing Buddy( Alan)Owens soon and I'll ask him if they are going to pull out any songs of his Father(Buck Owens) that was not realesed and put them on the Market. I remember Tony's cut and it was fantastic. I guess his is the only recording of it I've heard.
Leo, you mention "Gene Price". I lived in Buena Park and later in Anaheim -- Magnolia High 1974. When I first got into country music I remember listening to KFOX and KLAC. Gene was always one of my favorites. There was a DJ named Terry Moss that I got go sit in the studio with one night while he did his show. I can't recall which station he was on, but it was the one in the International Tower in Long Beach; don't think it was LA. Terry invited me down because he got a kick out of my John Wayne impressions that he would record from my phone calls and then play on the air. I was about 16 then.

There's a Buckaroos version, I believe it's Doyle Holly singing and Buddy Emmons "guesting" on steel. It's on one of the Buckaroos compilation CDs that came out in the last few years.

It's on the Buck Owens album "Roll Out the Red Carpet", I'd always though that was Buck and Don Rich together...

Pete's right. It is on a Buck album. Due to Buck's
sometimes quirky pronunciation, it sounds like he's
saying "Cinderilla".
