Does anyone know what the standard length is for a pedal rod (without the coupler on the end) for a Sierra Session D-10? My recent acquisition has rods that are only 24.25" long which I believe may be as much as 1.5" shorter than standard but don't know.
Thanks, Chuck |

I'm not sure there is a standard length - but the rods on my Sessions D-10
are 26 inches - end to end - with fitting on
you can can make them longer by using heave wall tubing , just tap the
tube with -- 10-32 tap and thread it on the rod and put a short pice of a
10 - 32 screw into the end of the ball fitting and put it back together .
I can post a photo if that will help .

Hick,
Minus the coupler on the end, your rods are probably about an inch longer than the shorter ones I currently have. I suspect around 25 1/4" is the standard pedal rod length. Thanks for your reply.

chuck --- your welcome
I'm sure you know the Sierra's are hight adjustable , and would
guess someone lowered yours . this would account for the rods
being shorter ( thats one DUH for me ) or it may have come from
the factory that way on a special request order - Your likely correct
in the 25&1/4 being a most common or standard length .
I see by your post its new to you , I think you will find it to be
a supper guitar in a lot of ways .
I sure enjoy mine more than ever .
