What wonderful playing! And what a fun video.
Kale, could you please tell me about your Sho-Bud? What's the story? Was it originally keyless? And where on earth did you find such a special instrument? |

Thanks for the nice words. My bud has been discussed here once before in this thread.

Larry Allen did some work on it, and then it ended up with Jim Palenscar, who sold it to me back in Oct of 2020. My first step out of the non-pedal world.
I replaced the midi pickup with a momentary switch to turn my Leslie pedal off and on, built a new armrest, carved out the Tiki Fretboard, moved the left leg knee levers to the center (for double footing), and converted it to a souped up C6. This last part was only possible because Jim gave me about a 1 hour crash course in changing rods and timing pulls. Love that guitar, and I think I've finally dialed in my extended C6 coped. Havent changed any rods in 3 weeks which is a new record. |
