I have replaced the pot in my L10k goodrich and everything works fine except now it wont stay in the off position. it drops about 1/4 . what have I done wrong ?

It sounds like you need to reset the travel of the pot's shaft in relation to the travel of the pedal and the string pull. Sometimes the total travel of the pot exceeds the total travel of the pedal, so you end up either with the pot fully open in the toe down position but not fully closed in the heel down position (this sounds like your pedal), or visa versa, or somewhere in between. Some people might like the sound of the pot fully open and not mind it not completely off, whereas others might prefer to shut it down completely. |

My guess is that you have the wrong amount of tension on the spring that pulls the pedal back. Try tightening the spring up a bit. _________________ Bob |
