An 'X' instead of a picture

Most photos on the Forum, and some in my emails, are replaced by a box with an 'X' in a little box.

Is there something wrong in my 'puter, or something at the source?

All the uploaded pictures on the forum are gone due to a hard drive crash and you will get the "red x" on those. If you are getting them in e-mails, usually it's because the sender did not attach the photos properly or deleted them when they sent the message.
