Ok, I've added 3 new levers to my trusty old Bud and now I have the levers working, I again have questions. In setting up my guitar for an Emmons E9th style, I notice in the forum diagram of Buddy's E9th that the RKR shows -D/C# for the #2 F3 string indicating to me 2 stops. Is this done with one lever and if so how? I am confused as it combines with a -c# drop on the #9 D string. When set up do you only push the lever half way for a drop to D on #2?

Thanks to everyone for all your help so far and a big thanks to Coop for getting the parts to me despite of the problems with the shipping company. He did the gracious thing without hesitation.

that Eb to D to C# is on 1 lever Richard
it's got a half stop on D & then on down to C#
pretty sure some one will steer you in the right direction to get a half stop on that change

Hi Richard, on both my steels, and old Sho-Bud and my Carter....both universals, I have a double lower on my LKL. That takes my #2 string down to D then C# it also lowers the 8th string to D being that open note is missing as it's a universal. On the Sho-Bud, it's the original double lower spring/stop and work just about ok, though I can sometimes over shoot on the first lower on string #2 on a fast change. On the Carter my friend Richard Burton made me a really positive double lower stop machanism...it's really accurate, and still light in operation Smile
