I just finished listing to an Eddy Arnold tribute on KDHX FM radio in St. Louis. To hear "Little Roy Wiggins" play those wonderful solos brought tears to my eyes. He played so good and set the tone for Eddy's sound. BTW He was one heck of a nice guy. I think of him often and miss him so much. Bobby

Mr. Ting-A-Ling, the man who made electric steel guitar the standard for country music in Nashville!

Bobby, I've been listening to Little Roy ting-a-ling tonite here on our local NPR station WFPK 91.9. They do a traditional country segment at least once monthly on the Sun. nite Bluegrass 8-11 program.

The Country Gentleman, Berk Bryant, plays mostly bluegrass but is an obvious fan of traditional and old time country. He opened his show with Eddie Arnold music and stated he was going to do a tribute program honoring Eddie Arnold in a week or two.

Too bad "country" radio around here is too busy to pay homage to the icon, but Thank God for NPR.

I only met Roy Wiggins in the last few years in the Derby room at the ISGC but have been a fan of his steel guitar playing since I can remember.
