Mike, If that sounds as good as it looks... and I'm sure it does,
can you please share with us the thrill you get playing this beautiful instrument?
Congrats,
Danny Bates

Yeah, but it ain't a Bigsby..., it's a Clinesmith!

Too damn sweet, Mike, what with the custom logo, et all.
Well worth the wait and $, eh?
Can't wait to hear what you've got planned.

Simply stunning. It conjures up so many romantic 1950s images of fast sportscars, and the interior of General MacArthur's private plane I saw last year in Arizona. A gorgeous instrument - but even better, can't wait to hear the sounds you'll make on it. You may want to buy one of those back supports the guys at Home Depot wear. :)

This guitar is a dream in every way.

It plays unbelievably well and its sound is nothing short of incredible. Both necks sound different from each other (the front neck being super fat sounding) and this is beneficial for me and the styles and tunings I use. The pickups are very much alive.

The craftsmanship is absolutely top-notch. No corners cut--probably just as Paul made them. I love the deep, rich tint of the finish. The guitar in its case weighs about 50 lbs.

The tunings I use are variations on E13 and A6, but I change them often by retuning a few strings.

This guitar will make its debut Sunday night in NYC.

Mike -

I don't play a non-pedal but what you have there is a work of art! Take good care of her and ENJOY! LOVE superb craftsmanship!

Respectfully,

Richard

...great, Mike. The aluminum looks like it's chromed in the photos; or is that just a great polishing job?

Even if I didn't know a thumb pick from a steel bar I'd want that one on display in my home.... Absolutely beautiful!!

Mike,

What is the string spacing center to center of stings?

Thanks.

So I guess you won't be having it relic'd, Mike, - like this brand new Strat? :)

I like the handle on the end as well as the over-all look. I'm not good enough to own a guitar like that.

Mike,
You are going to love that guitar on stage. Cuts through anything but stays sweet and full sounding. My D8 Clinesmith is the best sounding steel I have ever played. So Jeremy Wakefield did the logo ? Is there anything that guy isn't better than everybody else at ?

We need to book a gig at Barbes or someplace where we can both do sets with our Clinesmiths.

Congrats, Bob

Has Todd come out with a lap steel version yet? I remember him talkin about it.
