Anyone know of any steel players that will be playing at the upcoming Stagecoach concert in Southern Cal?
If the bands don't carry a steel with them, I refuse to go.

Brett,
You're such a wealth of information! Danny I hope you got to make it out to a show or two. We had a blast. It was like old home week for me. I got to visit with former band mates that I haven't seen in years. Catering was awesome there also!

Oh by the way....Tony Paoletta plays steel with Luke Bryan. Luke has been out on the Dierks tour so Tony and I got to talk shop a whole lot.

I got my dates all messed up and missed the whole show!
Thanks for your info, Brett.

I was able to watch George Strait at the Honda Center a couple of weeks ago, and even though a great show, it was just too loud for me.
I was lucky enough to be invited by guitar player Rick McCrae, and so I felt obligated to stick around til the end. I could see the band was great, but I couln't make out the individual notes on most of the breaks.

Brett,
I worked a show last week-end with Robbie Turner, and he was playing his new Show-Pro..single 10..
But he could string a 2x4 with baling wire and sound good..
See you in a few days my friend..
RP...'come on '...

Robbie wasn't playing with Shooter at Stagecoach; it was some younger guy I didn't recognize. The night I was there (Friday) Mike Ness also had a steel player, and Marty Rifkin was playing a "one-off" with Glen Campbell; Michelle Branch also had a steel player. The main stage that night had the Eagles, John Fogerty, Trisha Yearwood and Shelby Lynne, so some good music (and some great players) but no steel!

I saw Fats Kaplan here in town on Sunday and he had just gotten back from playing the "Judds" reunion show there at the festival, so there's another one...
