Here's the tab for the two lap steel verses in this song. I tuned the bottom C string back to C from C# for this tune. Hopefully the track will be useful to practice some non-country riffs on a lot of different instruments.

Thanks Chuck! Got a nice Hank song coming in a few days with some lap steel on it
Will, I was a few days away from chucking the Rondo and buying a Goldtone! The Rondo just wouldn'y play in tune but I started to notice that it was out of tune more on one string than the others, but they would all get worse as the frets got higher. What I discovered was that the 3rd string tuner at the bridge had popped out of place and moved toward the nut about 3/16" throwing the intonation way off for that string. Closer investigation revealed that the entire bridge was way too far forward. I had to move it back a LONG ways to get everything in tune at hte 12th fret. If you listen to There'll Be No Teardrops Tonight you can hear how out of tune I was on the high frets. Even so, you have to slant the bar a little one way or the other to play in tune with certain combinations of strings and I am just learning to do that. So the Rondo stays!

Thanks Greg
Greg - Once again, very good job on the tab, song and rhythm track. I'll be "steeling" all your licks!
