I'm toying with get a liftkit for my Emmons fatback. Wondering how much leg clearance most people have between the bottom appron and the top of your volume pedal leg? I have my steel up on blocks trying to figure out how much of a raise I need/want. Thanks for the help.

1" or a tad more works fine for me. Just remember that the more clearance you have the lower your vertical lever (if you have one) will have to hang. If the angle on your up lever is adjustable it may be no problem. If not, you may run into problems there. Just a thought. One inch should be plenty of clearance.

I think I have about 1/2" I'd like more clearance so I could get better leverage on RKR but I already have an 1" overheight legs on my GFI and I think if I got legs any higher it'd make any vertical levers more difficult. It's all a finely tuned balancing act.
