peavey room non pedler

Who was the guy in the peavey room who played without pedals? I have never seen so many slants executed so smoothly and so in tune. He was brilliant!!

Judging by your description it sounds like Billy Robinson. I saw him at various points during the ISGC and he seemed to have the bar slanted more than straight. He is a GAS!!

If it was Billy Robinson, I remember him from the Red Foley days. He was a great steel player then, and probably even greater now. Haven't heard him in years.
