In the part of this song that goes(Other arms reach out to me)could you point me to some minor positions that are low voicings or strings that use pedals instead of open grips for these 2 minors and at what fret and which pedal. You guessed it, I play by ear know very little music theory. Thanks Tim

Hi Tim,
What key are you playing it in ?
Beyond the usual no-pedals A minor position, there are two others readily available (at the open nut) E minor, by lowering your third string and using any of the following strings: 1,2,3,5,and 6 or alternately using your 7th pedal and any of strings 1,2,3,4,5,6.
The other easy alternative is using your 6th pedal to make the open C chord into C minor. It really helps if you have a 4th string raise, from a to Bb to make it C minor seventh (or ninth).
Hope that helps.
-John
