I have a problem with my volume pedal, whenever I push it "pedal to the metal" it causes the tone to distort, as if I was running it through a fuzz device or something. It is an LDR2 so I thought it had no pots that need to be changed. I see the tone, off adjust, and gain holes on the bottom but I haven't messed with them yet. Any Ideas that might help?

First I'd make absolutely sure that the power cord is plugged all the way in and also try different guitar cords as well as bypassing the pedal completely to be sure the problem is in the pedal. You might try turning the gain down on the pedal and, if this doesn't help- call Goodrich- they are very helpful.

Turning the gain down did the trick. Any insight into any adjustments that are made on the tone, and Off Adj. switches?

The tone is just that- set it to however you want to hear your guitar. And the off adjustment is there to allow the player to be able to adjust how much signal is desired to be heard when the pedal is is the full off position. Some players want to hear a small amount of signal while others want it to be absolutely quiet. It needs to be said that the trim pots on the bottom of the pedal are sensitive and easily broken if you try to turn them too far in either direction. Goodrich has an accessory to the LDR and LDR2 pedal called the 7A that allows those adjustments to be made from a box that clips on the leg of the guitar.
