Price Porter was traveling through my area and dropped me off his latest CD. Price is a steel player, but on this CD he has left the steel playing to two of my favorite players: Dickie Overbey and Jim Loesberg. Here are the pickers: Floyd Domino Piano, Bobby Flores Fiddle, Jim Loesberg drums and steel, Dickie Overbey steel, Django Porter Guitar,Justin Trevino Bass and background vocals. Redd Volkaert guitar, Freddy Powers guest vocals. NEED I SAY MORE! What a band! Price wrote two of the best songs on the CD. Justin Trevino's style on bass is different from anyone. Before I die, I would like to sit my steel up between Dickey Overbey playing steel on my right, and Jim Loesberg playing steel on my left. With the band on this CD and play my steel with these people on "Another Bridge To Burn". I think I can hang with the boys. I think Bobby Flores and Wade Landry may be Tommy Jackon re-born. A lot of the best steel guitar you hear seems to be coming out of Austin, Texas. Guys, I love this CD Price gave me. It is the real deal.

Yes Keith, this guy has been a friend and customer of mine for several years, but until a few months ago when working on one of his steels did I discover he sang.
He gave me his new CD for the work I did, and it is great. First class. Everyone should go to his address and order one. You won't be disappointed.
